It is surprisingly hard to find real raw local honey in this city. There are a lot of people claiming local honey when they're actually getting it from nearby states.
We're The Elderberry Source. We get raw local wildflower honey from some good friends a few times a year. It's very limited, which is why you'll see us in and out of stock frequently. It comes from bees foraging in Las Vegas, Henderson, and the surrounding deserts.

What "Local" Actually Means
"Local" isn't regulated by distance, so anyone can slap it on a label. Ours comes from bees foraging right here in Vegas, not honey brought in from other states and relabeled. Raw honey from other states is amazing too, but we should know the truth about where ours actually comes from.
The Las Vegas Valley has its own mix of native and non-native plants, including regional plants like mulberry, olive, Bermuda grass, ragweed, and more. These are examples of regional blooms, not a list of pollens confirmed in any particular jar.
Where to Buy Local Honey Near You in Las Vegas
Check current stock for our raw wildflower honey:
- Online at elderberrysource.com
- At select pickup locations around the valley, including Henderson
At local farmers markets, we sell our Fermented Honey rather than plain raw honey. Follow us on Instagram for weekly locations.
Raw honey is small-batch and available only a few times each year. If plain raw honey is sold out, check current stock or try our fermented honey. Our fermented honey starts with local honey and is fermented with certified-organic garlic, ginger, and turmeric. It is almost always in stock, even when the plain raw honey sells out.
Why Vegas Locals Are Looking For This
A lot of our customers come to us specifically because they want honey sourced from right here. People love to cook with it, use it as a sugar replacement, or read about local honey in relation to seasonal allergies. If you're in Henderson, Las Vegas, or anywhere in the valley and looking for real local wildflower honey, we've got you. Even if we're out of stock, reach out and we'll point you to real local Vegas honey. If you found us by searching "local honey," this is the raw local honey we keep in season.
